Cascades Picnic Area is located in the Merced River Canyon, only minutes after the Arch Rock entrance on Hwy 140. The picnic area is the first major viewing area as you first enter the park. Ceremonies can be performed in the picnic site or at least 6 feet from the banks of the beautiful Merced River.
